  Marvelous like usual. Have been coming here nearly every week for 14yrs. It is wheelchair friendly which is perfect for us. The staff are wonderful and the food is always lovely

  What a waste of $$. We were reccommended to visit this place and was really looking forward to dinner tonight. I had the pistachio crusted fish. The only thing good on that plate was the salad. All I could taste was deep fried fish...yuck. I doubt there was any pistachios in there. My husband had the crepes it was ok. I liked the look of the dessert menu when i first walked in, but my meal put me off..made me sick to be honest. I was offered a free coffee on the house as compensation.. but that only costs the business a dollar to make so I declined. Atleast..I was offered something right? I should not have paid for my meal.

  Meal was exceptional. I had the salmon and I couldn't fault it. High compliments to the chef. The restaurant is on the water and is quite a nice spot tho found the restaurant itself lacking in warmth from a decor and ambiance point of view. One waitress was phenominal (short blonde hair) very friendly and really good at her job. Others appeared a little inexperienced and rushed ordering. I also ordered a wine but couldn't drink it as it was obviously stale and had been in the bottle uncorked for two long. Suggest you guys check that. The meal tho was exceptional, slightly pricey but I did enjoy the food.

  My boyfriend and I enjoyed the seafood platter for 2 for $86. Was slightly over priced but still a fantastic meal if you're looking for a taste of all that Lakes Entrance has to offer. Staff was lovely and took care of us from the moment we walked in. The portion sizes of drinks were quite generous. Stand out moment for me was witnessing the composure of the staff when faced with a complaint of "too much water in the crayfish therefore it was frozen", they immediately explained that the crayfish was completely fresh, and the chef even came out to offer for the customer to come see the kitchen to witness the crayfish being cooked! I personally think that Ferrymans is a great place to come if you're not worried too much about your back pocket, in our opinion a perfect date destination!
